As a parent of two beautiful daughters, one of the most difficult decisions that you have to make is finding the “right” childcare. For me, it was important that the childcare facility is clean (smile) and provide the right “nurturing”, “encouraging” and “Safe” environment for my child to learn and grow.
After visiting several childcare centers and becoming disappointed in what I was coming across. I took a chance and stopped in at facility that I happen to drive pass on my way home from work. I walked in and met with the Director. After meeting with her and touring the facility, I knew that I had finally found the right place for my daughter (who at the time was 2 ½ years old). The director took the time to answer my questions (believe me I had many), introduced me to the teacher and discussed the curriculum. She invited me to come back with my daughter to see how she liked the school. She absolutely loved it. If you also have a child who has to go to daycare, it might be wise to look into details like how much does primrose school cost.
My daughter has been at the center with the Amazing staff of assistants and teachers for almost 3 years. Even though my daughter will be leaving the school in the fall to attend Kindergarten, I couldn’t thank the staff at Precious Butterflies for all that they have done to prepare her for Kindergarten (and beyond) .
They have encouraged her love for school and challenged her to far exceed the expectations/skills that she will need for Kindergarten. My daughter is able to read, identified all her shapes, write her full name, do basic math and the list continues. Even though, it will be sad to leave the “extended” family that I have come to love in the fall, I know that the relationship will not end there. My daughter will be back to visit during her breaks and I will continue to recommend my friends/family/co-workers to the child care. If you are looking for an “extension” of your family where you know that your child will be loved, taken care of (as if they were one of their own child(ren) and encouraged to grow…look no further than Precious Butterflies Daycare. When I was asked to prepare a testimonial for Precious Butterflies, I answered YES! – Without hesitation. I have two children who attend the school and I have to say I am extremely pleased with the care and education they both receive. In the past, I’ve sent my children to child care centers that seem to not be in it for the reasons. I would pick them up and something just didn’t seem right! It was by chance I happen to be shopping and I met this lady that approached me and asked if I would be interested in attending an open house at her new school and I have to be honest the first thing I said to myself was “here we go again, another dingy childcare place that wants to take all my money” all the while telling her “Yes!, I would come”, but never showing up.
Months went by, and one day I was in a somewhat of a jam and I needed a place to take my kids for a couple of hours, I saw this cute little school right down the road from my house so I decided to step in and the first thing I said to myself was “Wow! This place is frigging clean” and then BOOM! There was the lady from the store (karma right!). She remembered my name, my kids, and my husband! That to me said a lot! I was going for a one day drop of situation but after touring the school, speaking with the staff, and seeing how truly down to earth and encouraging everyone was, as well I couldn’t get over how clean and fresh smelling this place was! I ended up enrolling both my children.
My daughter is 18 months and can say her name clearly and count up to 20- where do they do that at? Nowhere, but here! Thanks to Ms. Dani and Ms. Miriam. My son is now 4 years of age and is his entering a new path to Kindergarten, we recently had to drop him off on a day visits to The Wardlaw-Hartridge School for the final part of his application process and upon pick up all the teachers and Directors who tested and spoke with him were completely astonished by how well he spoke, how neat and well he wrote, and the fact that he could read! They asked him to draw a picture of his family, so he drew us in a building, and at the top he wrote “L B R E” and the teacher said is that supposed to be “Library”? he said “Yes!” and she said “WHOA!”. She spoke to me and said at 4 years old, for him to be able to sound out and attempt to do that, is pretty impressive. Although, it’s not spelt correct, the intentions and syllables are all there!
They all asked me which school he came from and I was extremely proud to say Precious Butterflies Childcare and Learning Center; they just shook their head and were simply amazed with his development. I had to give just about all the credit to Ms. Alicia, his teacher because; I’ve never met someone who cared about teaching as much a she does. She goes above and beyond! I’ve always told her, to think of our children as her own – because she is their second mother. This school IS our extended family and we truly, truly love all the staff. And although, he will be starting a new chapter in his young life in a different place next year, we will never forget what they’ve done for him, and we can’t wait to see how much more our baby girl will continue to grow.

Precious Butterflies is a world class education center that should be commended for their outstanding curriculum and quality childcare program. My son was attending a daycare program through my employer at one of the large commercial centers. Although that facility had all the bells and whistles, it was severely lacking in its curriculum development and enrichment activities. My neighbor suggested that I check out Precious Butterflies and I am so happy that I did!
Words cannot express how impressed I am with the center. The Director does a phenomenal job ensuring that there are diverse activities planned for the children in addition to their comprehensive academic curriculum. The center is impeccably clean on a consistent basis. I was shocked when I first walked in the center, as this was the first daycare that did not smell like a dirty diaper.
When I first enrolled my son, he was 3 years old and not potty trained. Also, he has a speech disability which makes his articulation hard to understand. After only 1 week at Precious Butterflies, my son was fully potty trained and was speaking clearer and in complete sentences. I thought I was dreaming as it was too good to be true. However that speaks volumes to the individualized attention that each child receives at Precious Butterflies.
The academic curriculum is well thought out and goes above and beyond to prepare children for kindergarten. My favorite part of the school beyond their exercises in reading, writing, and math are the fun activities and field trips that happen throughout the year. My son gets so excited for the special days like when the Cat in the Hat visits, or when they take a field trip to local points of interest. You really get a great value for the money that you pay. I would highly recommend Precious Butterflies to anyone looking for a solid educational foundation for their children. I just wish I knew about Precious Butterflies 3 years earlier!

I searched many childcare centers before I came to Precious Butterflies. I knew on my first tour that this was center I was going to choose for my daughter. It was the cleanest center I went to! I also didn’t see any children crying and could tell that they were very happy. The children are always kept busy and my daughter loves it here! I also signed my oldest daughter up for Precious Butterflies Kool Kidz Summer Camp and so far she is having an absolute blast. She is always doing projects, playing games, and has made a bunch of new friends. I couldn’t be happier with Precious Butterflies.
